In 2020, Lia Plissot initiated the collective circus group Cirque Queer composed of queers on stage and females in operation. The project is about creating a performance for general audiences under the big top. During 2 years of creation, the group traveled all over France and premiered the first circus work Le Premier Artifice in April 2023.

With the public space and the big top intertwining, the creation also involves a close encounter with the audiences who feel safe and right in this ephemeral open area, enjoying the festive momentum and collective energy. A project initiated by the Coopérative De Rue et De Cirque came and as part of this cooperative, the Cirque Queer takes the creation as a new project in other cities, in other spaces.

After the first creation under the big top, this time the Cirque Queer creates Kermesse in the public space and free for all audiences. 3 shows will take place in the fascinating and historical RueWATT (Watt Street in the 13th district of Paris). The Cirque Queer endeavors to take over the whole street, playing with its various spaces, heights, stairs, and the tunnel.
